dont laugh

but i finally decided to try and learn to crochet
along with knitting a lace pattern.

the lace pattern is easy
its knitting... i know how to do that.

anyway the crochet is coming along i decided for my first project to try this

now it is not difficult however i did not read the instructions first.
so my 6" basket is only about 3"
why you ask? well instead of using 6 strands of yarn and a Q hook (which is big)
i am using one strand of yarn and I hook (which is not so big)

now most people would be upset by this as i am 3/4 of the way done. but i am not...

anyone need a 3" basket?
when im done i will post a picture.
